On February 10, 2014, GIT had its very first visit from the director of Quality Assurance, Mr. Sandro Spiteri, We are happy to announce that the two and half hour meeting, was a success. Mr. Spiteri asked several questions concerning the internal quality assurance that GIT established. Our Director, Joseph Agius, wrote a number of documents on a number of areas of the school; such as the responsibilities and accountability of the offices. This included a 35 page paper on the philosophy of internal quality assurance for GIT. All of these documents were praised by Mr. Spiteri, and several times he exclaimed “This is excellent!”The visit was very encouraging and positive. We learned new things as well about how to serve our students better. We want to give glory to God for all He has done, and the way He has been guiding our leaders to lead GIT.

Another historical event! GIT keeps breaking ground for Malta’s Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches. On February, 28, 2014, the NCFHE, issued the first full license to GIT. It is a five-year license which now places the school in the level of any other Further and Higher Institution on the Island of Malta. It is now the responsibility of the churches to make use of GIT, so that their academic standards will get higher and be recognized not only in Malta, but in 51countries that recognizes the European Qualification Framework. This not to mention the many countries that already recognize GU.
